About the awards

The U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) is proud to announce the Fire Is Everyone’s Fight (FIEF) Prevention Recognition Awards winners. These awards celebrate significant contributions toward fire safety in higher education, recognizing achievements in innovation, community impact and collaborative efforts.

In 2024, USFA partnered with universities to develop FIEF campaigns in a variety of locations across the nation. In collaboration with local and campus fire departments, professors used a lesson plan provided by USFA or used their own semester-long course to grow student’s practical experience in marketing with USFA as their real-world client.
